Los Baños' Places of Interests
Los Baños is blessed with natural and scenic spots. It is the city where science embraces nature. The town’s main attractions are the following; namely: Mt. Makiling, Hot Springs Resorts, Museums, Historical sites, Learning Centers and Home grown products.
The town of Los Baños, since it was founded, is already unique if beauty of nature will be the basis. From Calamba City to the town of Los Baños has lots of “sibol at bukal” (hot springs) which was according to the people can cure some of the diseases. Having many hot springs led to the foundation of lots of resorts & hotels, resting places, and also visitor’s lounges.
Hot water in the hot spring resorts comes from the mystical inactive volcano Mount Makiling. Mount Makiling’s features make Los Baños an ideal place for vacations and/or outings and people must be proud of.
